My name is Miss Schaffert, and this is my third year with the Owosso Middle School choral program. I love being in Owosso. This past year was incredible, and I'm excited for another excellent year with these amazing, hilarious, talented students.
I graduated from Western Michigan University in 2013 with degrees in Choral Music Education, Vocal Performance, and Instrumental Music Education. I am a singer, as well as a trombone player.
In addition to teaching choir, I like to cook, paint, play guitar and ukulele, mix songs in garageband, be with my family, make youtube videos, and cuddle with my dog.

About the Program:
Approximately 1 out of every 3 students at OMS is involved in the OMS Choir Program.

The Owosso Middle School choir program has a long-time tradition of excellence. The 6th, 7th, and 8th grade choirs have consistently received "Excellent" ratings from choir festival every year.
